Frequently Asked Questions

We love questions and value open communication. Here’s what we’re often asked.

We focus on you as a whole person - mind, body, and spirit. We believe in finding the cause of health issues and addressing them instead of treating or simply covering a symptom. We take into consideration lifestyle habits, nutrition, stress factors, toxicity, mobility, water intake, mindset, the health of your nervous system, and anything that may affect your wholeness and wellbeing.

We are not a pain based clinic. If you’re looking to walk in on your first visit, point to where it hurts, and get adjusted without x-rays, we are not that. We provide thorough corrective chiropractic care, create a plan specifically designed for you, and encourage you to create habits that serve you well. We believe being empowered with natural health knowledge is vital to everyone’s health journey.

While insurance can be confusing, we hope to be as clear as possible to create full understanding. We accept and are in network with the following insurance providers: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medcost, Cigna, & Medicare (not all supplemental Medicare options). Although some insurances may provide discounts and some coverage, most insurance companies do not provide full coverage or payment. We will always provide all out of pocket expenses to you before you begin a service so you are never surprised with costs or a bill. We are out of network with all other insurances not listed above. Some insurances will have out of network benefits and/or discounts which will be applied to your care plan. Keep in mind, each insurance policy is different. Bring your card with you on your first visit and we will gladly verify your insurance benefits for you. On your second visit, we’ll have a specialized care plan for you outlining your doctor’s recommendations which will include your insurance coverage estimate, your out of pocket responsibility, and monthly payment plan options. We have an incredible patient retention rate. Many patients continue their care with us long-term regardless of their insurance coverage because of the positive health results they experience.

Keep in mind, visits on an insurance plan are intended to be used over the course of an entire year. Often, insurance only pays for symptomatic relief and not truly fixing the problem. We consider our treatment plans clinically appropriate to address the underlying cause of our patient's complaints. Diagnosis codes are determined by the provider and insurance benefit payment may be denied based on the diagnosis codes. Our goal is to correct the cause of your symptoms, and we make recommendations based on what your body needs, and not based on your insurance coverage. We outline this upfront to provide clear and accurate information about your treatment plan and the cost.

Everyone is different. Some people experience relief after one adjustment. More difficult cases can take up to 6 months to see changes. We are on your team and will walk you through the process, providing progress evaluations and encouragement along the way.

While we absolutely desire you to feel better, holistic chiropractic care focuses on ensuring your body is communicating as it should so it can heal itself. Chiropractic allows the body to function at a higher level, even when relief hasn’t been experienced yet.

The chiropractic adjustments we provide are specific, gentle, and effective. Our doctors have over 20 years of combined experience, countless hours of training, and have provided over 100,000 safe adjustments for adults, children, and infants. For adults, some soreness may be experienced as your spine begins to move in ways it hasn’t in years - similar to muscle soreness when beginning an exercise routine. Symptoms for adults can get worse before they get better as your body goes through the process of healing.

We believe no one should ever feel pressured, trapped, or forced into any type of practice or activity done for the benefit of your health. We focus on the nervous system, structural correction, and addressing the cause which allows the body to heal itself. We do believe life-time chiropractic is absolutely beneficial. The Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics reported that “patients who went to DCs (doctors of chiropractic) as their primary care providers had 43% decreases in hospital admissions, 52% reductions in pharmaceutical costs and 43% fewer outpatient surgeries and procedures.” We have hundreds of patients who chose to continue getting adjusted year after year because they experience the benefits of strong immune systems, less sickness, better sleep, more energy, reduced symptoms, and overall better health. We also have patients who get adjusted for a specific issue, experience releif, and decide not to move forward with a wellness or maintenance plan. We high five, let them know we’re thankful to be part of their health journey, and make it clear we’re available with open arms should they ever need care again. We hope you forever take care of your nervous system and overall health, but ultimately, you are in charge of making your own health decisions. We always desire to be on your team and to encourage you along the way.

Infants benefit from chiropractic care for breastfeeding problems, reflux, colic, issues with crawling, standing or other movements. Children can experience relief from ear infections, immune system response issues, headaches, scoliosis, delayed speech, asthma, constipation, urinary incontinence, and digestive issues.

Chiropractic adjustments for kids focus mainly on increasing the function of the nervous system. This is crucial to brain and nerve development, the immune system, behavior, balance, sleep, posture, and so much more.

As a holistic based office, we are on your team and don’t want to expose you to more radiation than necessary. It is your responsibility to bring a disc or have your x-rays emailed to us at least 24 hours before your consultation. We will recommend x-rays only if necessary during your consultation.

Usually, yes! Your first visit includes a short tour of our office, a mobility exam, any necessary x-rays, a consultation, and an adjustment with one of our incredible doctors. Before you leave, we will schedule your x-ray review / recommendation visit. Your second visit will not include an adjustment.

You will be responsible for full fees at your first visit. Please bring your insurance card so we may verify your benefits. Once your doctor has determined a proper diagnosis, our team will contact your insurance company to determine benefits. Insurance coverage and all costs will be provided and discussed at your second visit.

Anything you are comfortable in that allows movement. Work clothes are completely fine. We do provide blankets if you come in a skirt and prefer more coverage.

We are located on Goodyear Drive, off Harper Street. We do not recommend taking the ‘shortcut’ over Silas Creek traffic. Instead take the Country Club Road exit to Harper Street.

If heading north on Silas, take the Country Club exit and turn RIGHT at the stop sign onto Country Club. Turn LEFT at the Harper Street stop light and make your first LEFT onto Goodyear Drive SEE MAP

There is a ramp located on the right facing side of our building. Follow the sign if you need help. When leaving our office, turn left on Goodyear, and turn right Harper Street to get to Country Club. Go straight to take Silas Creek South. Turn right and make another left to take Silas Creek North.
